ok i dont think i will get one for atleast another 2 or 3 years because my parents wont let me get a tank that big, i think the biggest i will be able to get while i live at home is a six footer.

No reason to get that height....you could do a 240 gal. 8' x 24". If you get a 300 gal. you could do a footprint of 8' x 30".

My dovii couldn't comfortably turn around in a standard 6x2 180. I think you need a 3' wide tank at the least with an 8 or 10 foot length for a fully grown dovii.
How many here have or have seen a 20 inch male? Besides Chris, I know your male is big.
