ok i dont think i will get one for atleast another 2 or 3 years because my parents wont let me get a tank that big, i think the biggest i will be able to get while i live at home is a six footer.

I am keeping mine in a 210, most recommendations are 180+.

You could get a grammodes as a substitute. Basically the same fish (probably even better looking) in a smaller package that could live in luxury in a 75.

No reason to get that height....you could do a 240 gal. 8' x 24". If you get a 300 gal. you could do a footprint of 8' x 30".

How many here have or have seen a 20 inch male? Besides Chris, I know your male is big.

All the free flowing information here astounds me. I like to think experience is the best teacher.

If you have never seen nor had a huge dovi, how can you give advice on tank size?
