IN A PLACE
I decided to endulge my plecos today and threw in a cucumber. These guys always feast, but I have never seen my "blue-eyed" pleco aka L137 with blue eyes. Obviously, these guys aren't true blue-eyes but I was impressed that they even showed a hue of blue. For the 2+ years i have kept these guys, never once did their eyes turn blue. maybe just a maturation thing? they are about 7" long right now. I also threw in a few pic of the cucumber feeding frenzy. enjoy:)

Nice group of plecos... got pics of all of them?

The current list is:

3 L14's
3 L137's
3 L200's
2 L75's
1 L47
1 L25
1 L191
1 L128
1 L27
1 L330

**I just removed an L91 for aggression**
**Planning on adding a couple L134s and an L46 someday

It is tough to snap a pic of each individual since there is a lot of driftwood and hiding spaces in the tank. However, I will work on a series of mug shots and post.

Where does one get a razorback musk turtle? How big is the tank? What type of filtration do you use? What are the other fish in the tank (severums)?

As for adding an L46, my understanding is that they should really be in a tank of their own as they don't do well with other large plecos.

If you're looking for L134s, a couple of folks on planetcatfish have some for sale that they've bred. You may want to ask them about how'd the L134s do with all the large plecs you have.

They are pretty common in the fish trade, check on the classifieds here. They run between $20-50. The tank is a 175g bowfront. It has a 30g wet/dry, 20g sump, tidepool bio wheel, 2 chemical reactors- 1 with matrix carbon, the other with purigen, 15 watt UV sterilizer, aquamedic nitrate reductor, all powered by a reeflo dart pump. I do a 25% water change every week or two.

I just got 5 L134's today in the mail; all in a 20g quarantine tank. They are a lot smaller than I expected so I will have to grow them out or trade for an adult or 2. They should be fine in the tank, I have really only had a couple "bad plecos" which I sold or took to the LFS. I am going to get an L46 and put it in with the L134s next week...I may get one of those betta in-tank displays and keep the little guys in the large tank like that. I will keep you updated

So. Many. Green. Fish. I think I need a cold shower...

Looking forward to how your L134s do. I would love to have a tank with L134s and Discus. Did you get yours from PlanetCatfish (Apistomaster or DrPleco)? I saw they were having a sale.

Where can you get more info on razorback musk turtles. Any suggested links? I'll try searching on MFK next.
