I have a climbing perch in a 10 gallon tank and was just wondering if I could feed it live food. He seems to be constantly trying to eat the baby mollies in my breeder net biting and thrashing at the net. If so what kind of live foods. I was kind of leening towards guppies.

yeah they will take guppies and anything else.

Obviously he wants mollies!:grinyes: Guppies will work though. I love watching ambush predators hunt!

What won't they eat is more like it.

Mine eat shrimp pellets, krill, brine shrimp, convict and guppy fry, earthworms, bloodworms, cichlid food sticks, cichlid floating sticks and even flake food.

If you feed him earthworms I recommend getting them froma bait store and not your yard. Also cut them into 4 or 5 small pieces.

I put them in there to eat them of course!

What am I going to do with all the fry? Flush them, give them to the LFS who has tons of them coming in all the time?

I breed them for food...not for love of the fish.
