Well I finally have got a good start on the project. Here is a few pictures so far.The tanks are a foot print of 24''x48 Still have not made up my mind on the sump build yet but I have given myself 24'' of space under there to use.
Thanks for all the advice on buffing out the acrylic sure help a bunch.here is before and afters.I have to use the DA sander with 1200 for the deep ones but it worked great.
Well I got the tanks drilled. The bottom wholes are for a auto dump.So I can open one value and drain both tank down for a 75% w/c.Note also how tight of a spot this is in all the plumbing has to be in that 5.75" space on the left and all tanks have to be in before I slide the stand over the last time and bolt it to the wall
Well the buffing went so well I decided to do the inside also.Good choice they are hot now.I also Have got the painting do as well. Here is a few more pictures.
Looking really good.
Not to derail, but all you used to buff out the scratches was 1200 grit sand paper? I am thinking of doing this to one of my tanks in progress.
