Blue Acara has a zit on his head

I found my Blue Acara with a zit on his head one morning. It grew huge each day till it popped! He ended up healing fine, but I thought I would share the photo.

Thats not a zit. I am pretty sure it is a form/type of HITH. I had a Large Midas that got one of those and when it went away it left a large hole in his head. After a year the hole closed up and you could never tell.

I had a ram get something like that. I thought it was a bacterial infection that caused an abscess.

Fish don't get zits they don't have pores like we do.

I dont think its HITH, it healed completeley after about a week. I didnt do anything to treat it, it just went away!?!

I have no idea how it happened, my first thought was he ran into a rock getting chased by another fish, and it caused swelling.
