In case you are wondering if the diy Filters work any good. I say !!! They work perfect and my water has never been any more clearer !!!

It also has BIO+MECH+CHEM* filtration.

DIY on how you made the filters?

Will make a tutorial if you want one. I basically looked at all the DIY filters and then made an improvised version to suit my needs. Let me be frank with you. the other DIY filters i tried . . . they worked but not as i expected it to be effective,i could see some particles flowing here and there. Then i designed some improvisation strategy and implemented it. Now i never see any particle floating in my tank. Now my water looks pretty neat and tidy and the water parameters look sturdy :D

I am now concentrating on getting a background.

That would be cool if you did a tutorial article.

I made those filters, too. One is in my 75g. It's the only filtration I have in there and parameters are excellent!. I love how you can go as big as you want with them. And it's so darn simple that I now wonder if I'll ever buy a filter again.

If you put the airline in the top of the powerhead outlet, it provides plenty of aeration and you probably wouldn't need to run the airstones. Just a thought.
