My baby peacock bass have ich. Went to the store I bought them at and they had ich also. I put an heater up to 80 degrees and ich cure. Did a 50% water change. Anything else I can do. So they don't die. Mahalos.

1 teaspoon per 5g is too ineffective. Make it a teaspoon per gallon and add the next set in the next 12 hours (if the fish still is tolerant). 1-2 teaspoons per gallon total should be enough to destroy the parasites. Keep salt treatment for 10 days minimum.

How long do I wait before water change with the salt in it.
Do your water changes every 4 days to keep water fresh and ad the salt of the amount of water replaced alsobump you temp to 89 degres Faren. It speeds up the life cycle of the parisites the water changes help also ridding the parisites...

I did what he said except I change water every 2-3 days then redose. If they're eating then you don't need to panic. Just repeat this step for about 2 weeks and your tank should be free of ich.
