Fishing Spider

Dolomedes tenebrosus. This lovely beast was lurking in my basement of all places. I captured her and snapped a few pics before releasing her.

You're not kidding - having your wife call you at work to tell you this is stuck to the wall inside your house was harrowing to say the least.

It was interesting to note that these spiders are large enough to catch small fish, although they are totally harmless to humans.

that spider could definetly squish you with little effort...

um some spiders can actually kill a human so size doesnt matter:popcorn:
 
hmm oh well many things can kill you just gotta have a fly swatter with you at all times
