Again, this is just for fun and to see all the nice cons around. No losers here, all the fish look great.

This is mostly to see what's out there, but also to see what the males can do with color in spite of the fact that females are usually more colorful. Any amazing finnage or other interesting traits are welcome as well, but I feel compelled to request that true color morphs like gold, marbled, etc. not be included in this thread. I want to see the intense blues in the fins and such. I suppose HRP's are welcome, too, in wild colors.

After a few weeks have gone by and I've bumped the crud out of this thread, and there are hopefully at least ten or twenty good cons, I'll open a thread with a poll based on each photo (probably by username or post # in thread) for you to vote on the cons in this thread.

Rules not too serious, just no white, marbled, gold etc. morphs or females. If you have more than one con, do separate posts for each fish so the poll makes sense. Scars and age are irrelevant, this is about color intensity with a slight consideration for great/elongated finnage.

I voted for 1, but 5 and 8 are pretty pimp with those big humps. Those 2 look like a couple of old battle-axes.
 
11 Looks a little chewed on but hes got my vote.
Good contrast in his colors.
