I'm currently running a rena xp4 on my 115 gallon tank, I was curious and I just wanted to add some extra filtration and people have been referring me to the emperor 400... what do you guys think of it ?

Its media cartridges can be used for anything you want... I have ceramic rings in mine.
Spare filters can be made to fit it that cost about $0.05 each.
Its a fabulous filter.

Then, I cut quilt batting to size and put it in front of the bio cartridge. This is way cheaper than buying their cartridges for replacement all the time, and it works great.
