New baby midas/RD

I had to do it. I've had my eye on this baby for a month... Hoping for a male.

Measured today... 2.5" TL. Pics and video below. As you can see, great personality already!

Nice little midas/devil. You should put some kind of substrate in mine loves nothing more then to dig dig dig.
 
Awesome. By time hes big it might be time for that new tank...ha not in stalkerish way just saw rd post bout that. He looks like this guy when he was smaller. Lost the little pics from when he was your size but an inch or two bigger and he looked like this.

Haha yeah I've got a larger tank on the way, thanks. I left substrate out because the current 29g is very temporary and it'll be easier for me to empty it if I don't have to take sand out. His next tank will have gravel.
 
Nice head on that fish, I think it's going to be a really good looking adult a lot of potential. Good eye picking that one.
 
Yes I kept the BP. The BP is in my 40g breeder, 2" midas in a 29g, and my sick convict in a 20g long.

My professor has offered to loan me a 55g setup for free, but I might instead go with a 150g indoor pond that I can buy in Orlando. Or I might use the 55g til next summer when I move, then get the pond. Whichever way I choose, this little dude will be living in 150g by next summer! I'm very excited about it :)
