Here is my monster kok Midas. This beautiful fish is courtesy of Winchester Pet and Aquarium, located in Winchester, Va. (Def worth the trip for anyone close to Winchers, Va). Thanks to all who helped me with the ID. There was a little mix up at the store, but nothing that a great lfs wouldn't work through. Any input on diet and anything else you can think of would be greatly appreciated. He's in a 75g filtered with 2 AC110's. Thank you and enjoy!

This is my 14mo old daughter Faith, telling Daddy that she wanted it!

Beautiful fish and doughter congrats on both!

As far as diet goes I would ask what they have been feeding him because he looks amazing. Otherwise I would say a good pellet such as NLS Jumbo fish formula, Omega One Color Pellets, Hakari Bio-Gold+, Krill & Nightcrawlers a couple of times a week. One of the best Nauchal Humps I've ever seen, spectacular.

How big is he? Do they know his age?

Just keep the water clean.

That may be.... The nicest Midas ive seen. His color is absolutely flawless.
Very nice pick-up.

Thanks aquanero. We have another one on the way (hopefully daughter). I beleive the store was feeding Bio-Gold and maybe some beefheart. I can't remember the age, I believe aroudn 5yrs old? Not sure though. I have cichlid staple and freeze dried krill. But a fish this size needs a better diet than that. I shuoldve measured him when i had him, but was too excited to. If i were to guess, i'd say TL would be aroudn 14", total height at his thickest part would be about 7" and 2.5" wide looking down on him.
