A fellow chef friend of mine recently sold his restaurant, which has a killer custom set up in it. I phoned him at home to ask him what he was doing with the tanks in the place.
He told me that he had sold one of the tanks but that the larger display tank was going to stay in the restaurant. So then I asked him what he was doing with the fish. He also told me that they were staying with the restaurant. Which was cool as it is a killer set up.
Well today I get a phone call from the new owner of the place and he asked me what time I could come get the fish as they want to do a different kind of fish. I have no idea what I am picking up tonight at 8pm other than that they are piranha.
I will need to be bouncing ideas off of yall to get my bearings. Though I have a 230g and a 100g which I can move the fish out of to make room for these fish. I also have a few other tanks at home up and running that I can move the inhabitants around and put some of them in there.
My first guess would be that they are red belly, though I do know that my friend made sure his tank was knock out as it was right in the foyer of his place.
I am charging the batteries on my camera to take some pics and will update as I place the fish.
I wish my 10 ft 300g did not have a crack in the middle.
Well here goes to seeing what I have gotten myself into. When I made the inquiry into seeing what he was doing with the fish I was thinking of the last time I saw the tank when there were some really knock out africans in there.
So the one ? I have is what kind of tank mates can you put with piranha if any?
