Hey guys i just got my first wild caught oscar. he is about 2 inches and very active and full of personality. i am on my phone so i cant upload pics till i get home in about an hour or so. i drove for this guy lol. any advice or pretty much normal oscar care? i have a red oscar and he is very happy and healthy. i plan on lettin this guy get bigger in a growout then movin him in with my other oscar. is wild cought with a regular oscar ok to do as well? thanks for the advice and pics as soon as im home!

bump waitin for picsim going to upload some pics now. he is still in the bag and kinda mad from the trip. but i will get much better pics as soon as hes out swimming around.
here are some quick pics. i dont know much about these guys as far as the wild part goes. is there any more specific title for this guy besides "wild caught"
Nice. It looks a little stressed right now. I would think it would color up more as it settles. If I was going to get an Oscar, I would definately go the same route. Nice pick up.

def stress cuz we just got back from an hour long very bumpy car ride. construction the whole way. he doesn't know wtf is goin on lol. but in the tank at the store he was beautiful. so once he settles in and i can take him out of the bag i will get much better shots. there was 10 to choose from and he was the best looking one in my opinion. they had quite a few darker, mostly black ones. i wish i could have bought them all.
they had a few black and white ones but i fell in love with this guy. like i said if i had the space i would have bought them all. i love oscars. but i keep over 30 species of fish and i have too many smaller fish. so a couple oscars in each tank isnt the best idea hahalongislandfish;4491146; said:
