Been getting hooked on bettas lately, and I'm not talking about the disease-infested raggedy ones from Walmart or Petco. I'm talking about the NICE ones, especially the Halfmoons that come from overseas.

Soooo, I picked up this little 2.5g tank, built some dividers and ordered a few bettas. I'll be running a tiny canister filter for this tank, and each divider will have a small anubias or java fern. If this goes well I may be setting up more tanks. Stay tuned!

sounds like a fun project. i'mma keep an eye on this thread since the gf wants one so i'll be settin somethin up at her place
 
My betta must be spoiled, he has a 2.5 all to himself with a Azoo palm filter and Hydor heater. Look forward to more pics of your fish!

yeah, i thought of that, so i may keep the center divider empty and keep one in my 3g planted tank. when it comes time to take pics, ill drop him in and watch them go at it. if the two on opposite ends still get stressed, i can add a bigger plant to obstruct their view :)

check out aquabid. there's a few US sellers that have great halfmoons so you dont need to deal with overseas orders and transhippers

i have one in a 3g, then another in a 57g :) i wanted the divided tank because i also enjoy aquarium photography. this way, i could get some neat flaring shots of them
