Help wanted sexing my juvenile Gold Saum

This is my secon Gold Suam. I have had him/her now for about 4 weeks. The gold saum is about 2inches. He/she was a rescue from a friend who tank mate just beat the crap out of him/her. The saum was in very bad shape when i got him/her. Slowly the saum healing. I think it might be a female but not to sure. I like to hear what you all think what sex it is. :)

NP, it's a little small to be 100% but it certainly appears to be a female. If it starts developing a lot of patterning in it's fins I'll change my mind. :)

yea i know it still small but was just curious. there some slight blue/green specs in the tail and the other fins. its faint and my crappy camera didnt pic it up.

thxs. he/she was beat up badly when i got it. he/she was in a tank with an oscars and 2 ebjd and a convict that were atleast twice the size if not more. For now the saum in a 55 by itself until (if) it out grows its.
 
i'd say female also, males usually look a little beefier

Even though i think its a female too, it might not be the best way to judge for male or female by bulk. Alway thought u can tell the differants by fin shap and color. My last GT (Mr. T ,R.I.P.) was very skinny untill about 4 inch. no marking started to show untill about 3.5 Here some old pics

the first 2 pics are when i got him. last few pics was taken a few months befor he passed away at the age of 9 and almost 11 inches
