I always think Clown loach are risky even when the rays can't eat them due to them being susceptible to whitespot(Ick)....in my experience rays can contract the disease so its not worth the risk, Many people that do keep them together have systems incorporating close contact UVs which isnt generally a problem....if you don't you may be forced to take the chemical path .......this is always risky i feel.
