Here's the other tank. I shot this footage at the same time I took the Ornatum video during the Ranger game...might want to turn down the volume. This one has the male Atromaculatus. I had to separate them, remember how torn up the female was a while back?

Thanks. I had to separate the GT's too not because they're beating on each other but because they won't stop breeding.

My Festae's getting big isn't he?

Regarding the game, we lost again yesterday but we'll see you guys at game six in Arlington. GO RANGERS.

That a female ex-Cichlasoma Festae. My favorite fish after Dovii. The females get the red coloration and males are more golden or greenish. Do you like her?

No, I haven't bred the Atro's....the male tried to kill the female so I had to separate them. I'll try to put them together again soon.
 
I bred the male and this is the only female I introduced to him. They have a strong bond with one another. His mom was a different story, she killed many males before she hooked up with his father.
 
Wow! very nice Festae. How big is your tank? it looks like a 180? how long have you had the festae pair?
