my Japanese Marimo balls that is. :WHOA:
there just bigger than a softball, lol kinda cool. fish still dont know what to think about it tho. havnt seen many this size so thought id share. a cpl lumps on them that ill pinch off soon an create a cpl more Marimo balls

Fantastic! I've got a ball of hair algae in my cray tank but those marimo balls are epic. You fertilize or is it just nice, bright light that did it?
 
i got them this size only had them for a week, but from what i read bright light helps but there very very slow growing, like clown loaches lol. when i did my research before i got them, there is alot of cool storys to go along with them, alot of people would put them in jar an place under a lamp for good luck in the home.

thank u so very much. before the wife left today she said my balls where to fuzzy an geting sandy. so i need to brush them off from time to time. haveing balls this size isnt easy. i got turn them over every so often to make sure my fuzzy coat is even. dont want any bald spots :WHOA:
 
Hopefully 8 to 10 inches of they are descended from the true ones from Lake Akan. Want.
 
my lfs had foot long diameter ones, gone now though :/
 
i've never been jealous of another man's balls before but those are nice!

nice tank too. whatever happen with that guy you drove all the way to his house and he backed out of the original deal?

i kept my cool, wrote to him how i felt. an how he was also lucky i wasnt a bad person having his address and all lol. non the less i went there a week later an got the whole setup an then some. the 240 an everything is up an running, came with more that i needed to just fill up an plug in, all for 200. i guess its true what they say, be kind an good and things will go your way in the end
