Steve was a great man and hero to all animal lovers.. he did so much for the world of conservation that he will be greatly missed for many years to come.. hopefully his quest will be continued by all that looked up to him..

My wife isn't really an animal person, however, she loved watching Steve Irwin. He made eveything so much fun and accessible for the general public while still providing a wealth of information to us more knowledgable people. My family and I will truly miss him. Rest in peace.

He made conservation and appreciation of living creatures big and small easy and reachable to the masses. Hes a very light hearted fellow with incredible enthusiasm that is hard not to like.

The loss of Steve Irwin is a loss to the whole world. I have never seen an individual with more love for life. When I first heard about it, I felt really sorry for Steve. But now, after thinking about it for some time, I came to the conclusion that Steve did more in his short life than I could ever dream of. He did more for conservation in his lifetime than any other individual I can think of. That was his mission in life and he did it to his fullest. I feel as though I have lost a good friend. I am truly sorry for your loss and I hope you, the Irwin family and friends, can pull through and continue on in Steves legacy.

My prayers go out to Steve, big Bob, Terri, Bindi, little Bob, zoo staff (the best in the world might I add), and anyone else who has been touched by this tragedy. The world has lost a hero.

Rest in peace Steve! God bless! He was a wonderful guy and did alot for animals im positive everyone on here looked up to Steve. He was very dedicated to what he did best.

loved you since i was 5... huge loss in the animal world let alone the world..

Stevo was a great guy, animal lover and loving farther, I loved to watch his shows on animal planet, and one day hoped to visit him at Australia zoo. My brother idolised him and wanted to grow up like him, he even asked Steve for his autograph and not only did he send it first class mail, he also included lots of free goodies such as keyrings and posters. RIP Stevo, may God be with you all the way!

Steve was one of my heros growing up and still is today. I watched his shows all the time and he made learning about animals and animals conservation fun. Everyone knows who he is and this is truely a loss to the world. I hope you "the Irwin family and friends" can pull through this and keep his legacy of teaching people about animals and animal conservation going for years to come.

Will be truly missed as he did things in a amazing way, great to c him on tv, hes a hero in my heart i also admire him as he cared for his animals as if they were his own family.
