here is a pic of my 55 gal community (well my wifes :( lol)and some fish that I currently have in my 125. Only two will be staying in the 125 the rest will be going into the 55. The GT is pretty beat up but I got him for only 5.99 and he is about 3 inches so it seemed like a pretty good deal. He is actually pretty aggressive it's just that they had him with fish twice his size :(

thanks for the input I'll try it with the external lighting. My aquarium light is very bright, kind of thinking about getting different ones. I think it is so bright that it washes out their colors too. When I just have the sunlight on the tank the bosmani's are very colorful but when I turn it on they lose almost all of their blue on the front :( Anybody know what light would be a good mid-brightness light. Thanks for the sexing I had no idea just generically was calling she a he.

Pics look good. I have about a 1000 pics of my fish and about 20 of them are decent. I keep messing with my lighting and camera settings.

Where did you pick up your bosemani's? I have been looking around here for some more at a decent price.

yeah the photography isnt bad but i would get that rainbow outta there before he is dead..

I got the bosmani's at Uncle Bill's for 9.99. It's the best LFS I know of that's in Indy but I need to grab the yellow pages and start doing some more exploring. I know the bosmani's are going into the 55 soon but right now there is not a problem. They all get along real well.

I would try a colour intensifying spectrum light. That could help. Not all bulbs are made for good colour show. That might help you out alot. you can look at the sides of lighting rod bulbs and they actually show you the spectrum reading on the side so you can get a better idea of what light its going to be pulling out of the fish.
