How many gallons per hour are on your tanks.Im a big fan of heavy filtration.Im about to put more filtration on my 75.Im about to add another penguin 350 on my 75.Ill also add a magnum 350 on the tank also.My 40 is also heavy filtered with two aquaclear 50 filters, and soon to have a magnum 250.

well i just got a xp3 for my new 75 that moves 350gph. and i dont know about my 20 cause i dont know what kind of filter it is

anywhere from 3x per hour to 10x per hour depending on what tank/stock i have

I like to take 10x as the minnimum for cichlids.

My oscar tank (54 g corner) had 900gph, an emp 400 and an AC500.

My ten gallon growout has an emp 240.

Minimum 10X on all my tanks and about 15X on my ray tank. I have to say after I pulled out all the driftwood, water couldn't be any more clear.:headbang2 :D

I have a Fluval 404 on my 75g...I don't remember the turnover rate.

I'm thinking of adding a second FX5 on my 95gal.

Hmmm...

2x FX5
2x AC110

=fish stuck to the sides of the glass. :headbang2
