Any suggestion on placement of wood or plants?

Any idea what type of discus?

Forgot to add I am using a fluval 405 for filtration right now. Should I think about adding some more?

I plan on getting maybe 3 or so more. It is a 90g.

I got them at House of Tropicals in Glen Burnie Md.

Think the placement of everything is ok?

Fluval 405 alone ok for filtration?

Also, should I take some of the branches out near the middle of the tank. I dont think there is a lot of open space for swimming. I am not sure if discus need a lot of space to swim.

idk to much about filtration but i will say that its much more difficult growing out discus in a planted aquarium. thats why in the video with juvies i just have them in a bare tank where i know i could keep the water prestine. and the only reason i have tetras and coreys in there is because they where there first.

Yeh. I am planning on changing the water 2 times a week, or more if I feel needed based on waste/debree in the tank.

Keep up on the water changes and you should be ok. over filtration never hurt anyone though. I do 3 water changes of 70-80% a week and my discus love it. My filtration is a fx-5 and ehiem classic 2217 on a 120g tank and i have 13 discus in it. You can add some more easily. I like the pigeon blood, try to get some solids or talk to snookn21 and get some wilds
