Do you have fronts in with malawis?
Not worried they will get bullied?
Be interesting to see how this goes. I had a similiar setup with a 150 -2xFX5's and a 20G sump w/ a 30W UV and the tank was always clear but I had other issues with cichlid aggression.

Now that's a nice tank!!!! Lot's of cool and colorful africans. I'll bet you don't have many problems with agression. I noticed that you have a mono and a scat in there, how do they get a long? Do you have any extra salt in there?

With so many fish no one really gets bullied. There are definitely less dominant fish that hide more but none have been killed due to aggression. The Scats keep to themsleves, the monos keep to themselves and so do the puffers. And the africans act as if none of them are there. As for salt I add 1tbsp of kosher salt per 10g as well as 1 tsp of baking soda per 10g.
Nice aquascaping. I also had 2 monos and 2 scats with my cichlids. Had to take them out to make room for more africans.
