Hey guys,
im new to this forum but ive always enjoyed looking through the site before becoming a member. its an excellent site and alot of experienced people with great advice.

i have a 125 gallon that has been up and running for over a year and a half. it used to be a nice planted tank but i didnt have the time to properly care for it. now its pretty empty and could use a few plants. in the near future i plan on changing the light, changing substrate to sand, and get a few plants. i am going to start a poly/rope fish tank. i work at a lfs that specializes in just fish and reptiles and im just waiting on some bichir. i am thinking of a few senegals, delhezis, and an ornate or two and about 3 rope fish. i just purchased my rope fish today and wanted to show you guys some pics :) the photos arent so great of the tank because there was alot of direct sunlight hitting the tank and the flash etc. and the rope fish wouldnt stop moving in the bag so it was hard to capture photos. and i will be uploading more once he settles in.

These are Probably my No.1 Fish. There so cool. :) GL with him/Her

I'm sure he would love his new tank!

The ropefish looks great! Nice pickup. Maybe you could get a few more ropefish given your tank size, make a ropefish community! That'd be interesting :)

Great looking rope, some very nice picks you took. That tank is going to look great as you fill it up with more poly's

Nice rope.
Skip the ornates, unless you consider your ropefish bichir food.
They definately look best in larger groups. I have 3 in my 50 gallon.
When taking pics of the tank, turn your flash off, and have the room as dark as possible. Completely dark is best.

thanks. i tried the flash off, in some pics, but they turn out super blurry cause of how fast he was moving.
