So the refuguim mod is done and put back on the tank. As you can see from the pictures I have maintained the sponge filter and I have some Macro in there. But I do have a couple questions. First, do I need to be worried about the copepods being sucked into the filter and getting stuck in the sponge? Secondly, should I keep the activated carbon or Biomax stuff? I know alot of people use LR in the refugium. Wouldn't the biomax do a similar job of housing BB?
Lastly as I have added DT's copepods to the tank, I've read that the addition of phytoplankton is needed to grow and breed these little guys. Thoughts?
