Well about a month ago my 18 inch TSN ate my BGK, I thought maybe the BGK was bothering the TSN and he just ate him, well, 2 days ago the 18 inch TSN swallowed my 14 inch Silver Aro. Needless to say, you can now find my TSN at the Garland Texas Bass Pros. I am donating him to them because I am sooooooooooo sick of this crap. I never thought in a million years the TSN would eat something so big. I am sooo madat this act. I am dumping all freshwater activity in my house and from now on I will only run salt and reef setups. This last murder has really depressed me. Honestly, that TSN didnt need to eat the silver. I fed the TSN 3 huge shrimp the night before. So, thats it. I am however going to keep the 55 gallon clown loach tank and that will go in my sons room. What a sad turn of events.

3 shrimps for an 18" TSN is barely a snack isnt it?

Sorry for your loss.....It's amazing what they can shove in their pie hole.

But I guess now they need to be fed at least one aro and bgk per day. I had no idea he would eat an aro that big. Hopefully there are some reef fans on here because I am staying with MFK. At least my shark is a monsterfish in some way.

But really isn't the eating machine really a true tribute to the MFK? Sorry about the loss tho. It really really sucks that you would loose your aro and your bgk.

This was one of our member TSN eating his TSN they do it and they get big . Sorry to hear you want out:( I have kept fish for years about 3 years ago a similar thing happened to me (but snakehead related) I said to my friends and family "That it! " I have grown this fish from nothing to a show size and to see it dead was not a happy moment but you bounce back. Think long and hard before you get rid off every thing or just reconsider the choice of fish. I have had Marine fish and they is a lot more heart break in them than with fresh water my dad let he next door neighbour look after his when he went on holiday and came home to a 6 ft tank of death. But whatever you decide good luck and at least you still want to keep some fish it’s a start.;)

There, case in point, Evil TSN. Well I have kept a huge reef before but I couldnt move it all to Texas with me when I moved so I had to leave it there. I am turning the 250 to a reef because I know what I can do with it and I still have my shark but as for fresh water monsters? I still have the 9 clown loaches. Lets see how big I can get them to grow. But no more murderers for me. I think its just the final starw when the Aro went that sent me over the edge. I was prepared for large fiush. I knew what they were capable of. But this was just out of the blue for me. I appreciate all the support but I can dazzle with my reef tank. I am ordering the 72" LED lighting system from Solaris. Outrageous lighting system. By the way if anyone remembers, my family helped me with the worst part of my foundation so I just have the smaller cracks to deal with now. The contractor told me I cannot put a massive tank in the room though so I am putting the 250 reef in the middle of the media room. All is working out finally. Too bad the Aro wasnt around to enjoy a bigger home.

Good luck with it Tankbuster lets see some pics when it’s up and running and lets see the light unit. And change "I SAW THAT FEEDER DIE TO DEATH" to I saw my aro die to death:nilly: That is a very expensive feeder and lets hope those clown loaches get HUGE!!!;)

all the best :D
