A hoplias, a senegal bichir, and a hujeta

In the same tank, how do you see the scenario playing out?

They've been in there a few days and so far everything is fine. No fights.

The hoplias is about 6.5/7 inches, the hujeta is the same, and the bichir is about 9 inches.

in fact the wolf is more active since I've added these 2 fish than before.

What surprises me is the bichir nauses the wolf and the wolf takes it. The bichir likes to lay on top of him and nudge his way underneath him etc and the wolf just does nothing.

They both seem to ignore the hujeta.

Who do you think is more at risk of a vicious wolf attack?
 
I had one of these hoplias.. It was just sold as common wolfish. I don't know the scientific name. I would think both the fish with it could be prone to attack but definately the hujeta more so... That's a false gar right? And if you think it is too fast to get bit My wolf fish at about 6-7 inches systematically took down a school of 11 buck tooth tetras which are lightning fast. He also got into a scrap with a black pirana and the bite ended up being fatal to the Piranha.
 
thanks for the info - how big was the rhom?

the wolf fish is fast, very fast. He nails everything in one strike, never misses, pangasius catfish, tetras, buenas aires tetras etc.

He has one quick strike, much faster than the hujeta which ends up chasing things around and takes a few strikes to finally get it.

How bad did the bite look?
 
the rhom was only 5" and it was actually during a middle of the night being kicked out by an a-hole roomate kinda thing.. i had to move all my stuff from 1am- 5am in the morning.. and i only had so many resources.. the two were not in the same tank together but i had to put them in a bucket together to take them to the new house and he bit him in the bucket.. It was not a crucial bite I think just the bite added together with the stress of moving did him in.. The wolf is a very impressive ambush.. Lightning fast
