have to wait for caulk to dry before i can try it out.
i have a bunch of scrubbies,sponges,and felt cloth in the yellow barrel.
pump is 190gph soon to be two of them,so almost 400gph for two 25 gallon barrels.
pvc pipes are my overflows/bulkheads.
i cut grooves in the back so if it overflows,it flows that way.
one has fathead minnows in it.
the other will hold mosquito fish and such.
still have to pipe the returns,cover the overflow ends with screen,and make some tops.
diy all the way

thats a nice little setup. looks easy to set up. Are you worried about algae?

ive had one of them setup for a few months now.
it only had that hob in pic.
it had algae but water was clear so its ok with me
scrub it and clean it when i can is all.
this setup,the pipes are not glued to the yeller one.
so it all comes apart for cleaning.

with this setup,without the hob,will the w/d give enough air to the tanks?
the returns are underwater.
and i tested it today.after an hour of it running it started to kill my minnows.oops.
guess the w/d not being cycled did it?
