Assiatance in confirming Hexamita aka Spironucleus

Hi,

I have a Flower Horn and need help to confirm his condition. I suspect it is Hexamita and I am following the excellent steps described in the post by Neil (http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?339362-Treating-Hexamita-aka-Spironucleus) but I just want to be sure that I am correct in my assumption (don't want to make an ass out of myself) on his condition correctly.

Please advise.

Ok, thanks for the confirmation RD.

Lets hope I'm successful to get this sorted... to be honest it's difficult here in Malaysia, I ask for Metronidazole but noone here has every heard of it, I ask for Epsom Salts, noone has it... or they have no idea what I am talking about. I got some Ai.M Aquarium Salts conditioner, but it does not state what is in it... it looks like Epsom salts (all chunky and stuff) but I can't even confirm it on the internet... All they do is try to sell me a myrid of off the shelf wonder treatments, that don't match up to what I am trying to sort out... the best I have at the moment is a product recommended to me by a Flower Horn specialist shop that describes the condition as "white poo". I believe this is a direct translation from chinese or Japanese.

Anyway... frustrating to say the least.
