Since I've been seeing a lot of threads on debates on being overstocked I'm curious of what u guys think on my stock plans for my 600 gallon 8'x4'x2.5' being overstocked or not? My ideal stock list would be:

Super Red Asian Arowana
True spotted gar(the real deal not the Florida)
Either a ST or CT or Indo Tiger Datnoid
2 Peacock bass(prefer Orinos)
Short body Redtail catfish(only if I can find one)
Short body paroon shark(again only if can find one)
Tigrinus catfish(if I can't find the short body catfish then I replace them with this)
2 x black rays(male and female)

Technically 8-9 fish total. Tank will be bare bottom (tank painted black on back and bottom panels) with one piece of XXL driftwood in the middle. What do u guys think? Overstocked? Suggestions? If it is I'd better leave and not show my tank here once it's stocked hehe:)

It sounds fine to me. What are your filtration plans?

I bought my tank off of Boydo. The tank has dual internal overflows with inter-loc returns. It came with a bare 160 gallon tank which I'm either gonna use it as a sump or a grow out and get a 180 gallon sump made, it also came with 40 gallons of bio balls and 20 or 30 liters of ceramic rings. It also came with these filters

- Clear Water Sand filter - 100lbs premium sand
- Multi-cyclone 50 debris filter
- Ultima II 2000 filter
- 2 x Nuclear canisters - 25 micron c/w extra element

And he also threw in 5 external return pumps: 2 x 2400gph, 2 x 4500gph and 1 x 8000gph. Most likely only 1 x 4500gph and 8000 gph will be used.
