Hello!
I would like to know if there are some experience with this cross.
In a petshop near me a male Maculicauda and a female Citrinellum have laid eggs and they atched
Thanks
The fry as survived. About 20-30 are freeswimming in the aquarium with dad.
We had to take the female out, as soon as she stoped laying eggs, because the male saw in her a threat and almost killed her...
Here are some fotos:

Fry
We call them "Makulinellum"
They seem normal in shape and behaviour. Let´s wait to see what get out of this mix...
Ill try to update as possible
thanx for the update yo. glad some have made it this far. and holy smokes that looks like one bad case of cyno you got in there with them. i'd personally take the babies out of there and raise them in a cleaner tank. from the looks of that "algae" it appears to me that it is a cyna-bacteria not actual algae. which the cyna can be very hard on babies and growing up adults as well. well gl on the fry, hope they do great. awesome looking parents btw.
They´re not mine. They are in a pet store. I have been talking with the owner to move them to another aquarium, but he dont have a empty aquarium to put them rigth now.
I forgot to post this video when the eggs were hatching
The quality is poor cause it was recorded with my cellphone. http://www.zippyvideos.com/3636671706780926/29-01-07_1951/
