Nice meeting ya today. :) Thats an awesome tank you have there. You've inspired me to get back into doing a small planted tank. I have a 20 tall Clear for life tank, with an open top. Guess i'll be dropping by your store a lot more. :P

Thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing the new tank you are gonna put together in the near future.

Btw - are you running an Rena filter on your 29?

Those are nice tanks. I like the first one better. In the second you should put black sand/gravel. It contrasts the green really nicely. Also, whats the plants that are growing on the bottom of the tank? Like on the gravel?

I find flourite to be better than eco-complete. Black sand gravel will offer no nutritional benefit to the plants, where flourite and eco-complete will. The focus of a planted tank is not the substrate (it should be covered anyway by plants). The focus lies in the plants themselves.

Taboojen: yeah im running xp2 on this tank.

Arrow: its HC "Hemianthus callitrichoides"

Wyldfya: i agree with you, flourite is much better than eco IMO. It grows my plant really well, but when i change my flourite to ADA AS i notice see the big difference, plants do really well with AS especially those small plants like HC. Maybe next month the tank will be tear down cause im gonna buy my last dream tank ADA 90cm. ill go all ADA stand, light, substrate and ferts

Thank you very much for all the comments i really appreciate it :)
