Well, just picked up 3 little CL's and wanted to know what everyones feeding these striped gravel vacums? I'm new to owning these type of loaches and know they get large. Anyhow, I'm feeding them algae wafers, tetramin "the rich mix" tablets, cucumbers held down to the bottom, and iso shrimp pellets.:D

Bay Area CA.
in addition to good pellets and what has already been mentioned, you can also feed your clown loaches market shrimp, silver sides, anchovies, and fish fillet. basically the same stuff you would feed to a carnivorous fish.

if you haven't already read, it you can find lots of good basic infos on them here http://www.loaches.com/species-index/clown-loach-chromobotia-macracanthus.

also, you should maybe think about adding a couple more to your trio since they like being in large groups. and watch out for ich since they are very susceptible to it.
really ick huh...eww.....gotta keep the water param's pristine..thanks again for the insight.
