Would chiclids and Datnoids get along I have an extra tank and I would love to get Datnoids, but I also want a different variety of chiclids from which I already have (african's) so would chiclids be okay together with dat's (both dat's and chiclids would be about the same size 2-3 inches) I dont know much about Dat's. I do know that chiclids can get along with other fish depending on how you introduce them, and the sizes of each fish, I've done it before.

i tried keeping an indo dat with a few frontosas but the dat must have been intimidated by them because it constantly hid in the corner and acted stressed all the time.
I keep my dat with a green terror and parrot. The dat pretty much runs the tank. I would think anything that is not overly aggressive or something that can't fit in the dat's mouth would be fine.
