Doing water changes
My oscar is dieng he probably isnt going to make it. But i came home from work with my Albino oscar hovering over him he is really beat to hell. He's missing so many scales he's upside down barely breathing. What can i do so far i put him in my 20 with some convicts that are being grown out. I added Melafix i also have aquarium salt but I dont know if i should add it with the melafix also. Should I turn up the heat? Now he's just face down to the gravel. F%$* F&^( F@^* Ive had him for 2 years since he was about 1 inch and now he's like 10 inches atleast. This is the worst!!!!

If anyone has some advice please help so far hes in a 20 with melafix already added. Ill see if i can post a pic if that willl help.

he probably isnt going to make it but turn the lights off add some aquarium salt, put some melefix in, and turn the temp to 83F

the only other thing that would help is adding an airstone to up the oxygen content of the water. sorry to hear, hope for the best.

i dont know any other remedy that would help your oscar:( just know that they are some tuff *** fish, i found two of my oscars lying on the floor from a midnite trip out of the tank, both times i thaught for sure they were goners, skin was dry, little to no gill movement, however they both pulled through so my words to you are ...DONT GIVE UP, and KEEP HOPE ALIVE;)

hiw much salt do i add?

one tablespoon per 5 gallons, how clean is the water, pristine water conditions could be helpful too.
