So, show how you cook it!

Of course, I'll start.

First, get a good cut of meat. I chose a nice New York strip for this one.

Add beer (to your stomach)

Now....while the meat is warming to room temp, gather the spices/sauces.
I use Shoups (made in Indiana) Montreal steak seasoning, and a mixture of soy sauce and sesame seed oil (very little oil).

brush the mixture onto the steak and sprinkle on the seasonings (lightly) Let it set for 10 minutes on each side.

Cook for 4 minutes over hot coals on each side. Flip it once

Let the cooked steak set for 10 minutes before eating....it's important
Enjoy!!!:D

It was a much worse cut of meat too. At first I was skeptical cause normally I eat my steaks with no seasoning but I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I recommend you all try the seasoning combo :D

p.s. Let the blood flow people. If you want well done I'll trade you some beef jerky for your steak

Dont look near done.too red for me.I can handle pink but not red.
Dont have pics but rub them with fresh ground sea salt and fresh ground pepper.gas grill heat it up turn one side off the to low throw them on the side you turned of let cook for 15 min flip cook for another 15min.

weiner :naughty:

j/k (kinda)

I bet If you people tried this without looking at it (blindfolded or something) you would think it was one of the best steaks you ever had.

I did that with my brother one time. He used to order his steaks well done. I cooked him a filet about med-med rare. He tried it withought looking at it and said it was great. Then he looked at it and made me throw it back on the grill lol. But at least now he orders his steaks med.

Not saying that its bad, its probably better that well done. But I dont like eating it cooked that way.
