what are some general fish keeping "ethics" or f'd up things that people do in the there tanks that "urk" you, are pet peve's or just wrong. such as a video i saw of some kid's putting a gold fish in a "water pipe" then feeding it to a red belly pacu. of using a line and reel to catch fish out of a tank.

Died and tattooed fish. Feeding mice/rats to fish. And what I like less that those.........FISH SNOBS!

What exactly is a fish snob?

people that want to have the most aggresive fish they possibly can, because it makes them feel better about themselves.

people who cut p's lips to make them look more feirce

people who buy p's for the sole purpose of feeding it live food and show there friends

people who keep fish in tank that is to small, and say they'll upgrade later but never do.

people who don't take advice, because they don't want to think there wrong.

people who give bad advice, and don't know how to keep fish.

that's just off the top of my head.

also customers that think they know more than anybody else, the kinda people that buy an oscar and a 10gal in the same day, cause the fish "grow to the tank size"

also people who put fish hat live in schools in a tank by themselves.

:headbang2 :clap

And i also REALLY agree with that customers thing.

Bad ethics:
Flaming in general
Flaming about potential size while ignoring 'right now size'

What irks me:
Perpetual bad advice. No matter how much you try to set things right, the bad advice snowball got rolling and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

Python water changers -people adding tap water to the tank and then adding de-chlor :screwy: No matter how many times you point out the flaw in that thinking, there is always a line of people that will still do it.

Pretty much the only thing that really gets to me is people who buy fish for too small of a tank and don't plan on upgrading......and people flaming others for having a fish that will be too big for the tank its in when its full grown, when the people have every intention of upgrading down the road.......

Petsmart workers who think they know more just by correcting the pronounciation. "It's a Dinosaur Eel not a Bichir." What a dumb@$$!
