My panda gold comm with 8 discus'es, 2 pdr, 1 flower ray, 1 tigrinus catfish and 1 albino leapard pleco. 18th September 2005. Size: 12inches

And also,

My aro had a great jump and fell from my top tank..

it broke the hard ray of 1 of the small fins behind the pectorals..

take a look at the pics plse..

*though the pectoral fins look broken in the pic, but dont worry, coz of the angle, it looks like it was. but the pectoral fins are perfectly ok, just that the fin that was damaged is the one behind the pectorals..

do u think it will heal?

btw,

Thanks for the kind comments bros..

Yap, i heard of Jack, he is the discus breeder that writes discus articles in Tropical Fish Magazine rite? well, i dont really dare to post to him, if you want you can send him my pictures (give me some credit for it k? hehe) to prove him wrong.

In theory, they can be mix well, coz they share roughly the same water chemistry, both of them love soft water, and lower ph. But it still boils down to individual aros, some aros are fierce and will tear up any tank mates. Some are tamer, coz you gotta train them from young. What i did was when i got it young, i mix it with different species of fishes, and i try to pet it whenever i wash my fish tank.

Haha, sometimes the discus gets in the way of the aro, and they quickly dart away, and the aro with his lazy majestic swimming, just swim on like the king of the tank!

Very cool community. Love the ray aro and tig combo. Id be careful with the discus .. it might become leo snack when the leopoldii gets bigger.
