wow nice lookin fish first time I have seen one of these. I love Blue dolphins too! hes giving you the evil eye though
in the wild Blue Dolphins will follow Fossorochromis around

the Rostratus changes color more than any fish Ive owned
he was feeling bronzy in that pic
he seems to show every color at one point or another
making himself dark with black fins sometimes while mating his female

yeah I used to have an adult breeding group and the male looked amazing when he wanted to... it was tough to catch all the colors in a picture though because he never stood still for a second! Here are the best pictures I was able to get, which almost do him some justice... I really loved all the copper and burgundy colors mixed with the blue and black... someday I'll have to get these guys again, they are easy spawners also with big broods. I think I got almost 50 babies from one spawn and they grew pretty easily once released.
