Every time I feed him african cichlids!! THis hump grows!! NOW it is turning RED!!!! Look!! Today was my favorite African.. Venustus aroudn 12@ 3"!!!

Nice bass!!! Should i give my bass african cichlid too to make his hump huehue....^^ very expensive food...
There is a possible explanation for that. The cichlids if you bought them from local stores for cheap, they're probably loaded with hormone supplements, as they're fed that to make them color up prematurely, and when fed to your cichla, it crosses over, which makes your cichla develop the male breeding trait prematurely, seriously, this is not just mere speculation.

Feed them to my SAs Maybe the spirulina which isn't much in his home made recipe is causing it?? He doesn't add hormones knowingly ..... As far as I know Mainly veggies, shrimp, and a few other ingredients.. from the health store and or grocer..
