my rant on fw sharks

ever since i started this hobby,
the one thing that always bugged the crap out of me is,
all the fish they call sharks,but are nothing like a shark.
only thing ive seen fw that is even close is if you look down on a bullhead cat.
they look and swim like a shark,but thats it.
"and dont pull the "well this shark can live in fw"
you know what fish im talking about :D
ok im done,just wanted to get that off my chest :grinno:
 
My Apollos are more of a shark then jaws was!!! :D
 
The only thing that bugs me about this is hearing people say "I don't know if we should put a shark in our tank..." or....."my shark isn't eating the feeders..":duh:
 
I'm guessing it's more of a selling ploy for uninformed aquarists than a biologist thinking that's a great name..
 
dont think so i think some just kinda migrate to fresh water
