My 150g CA/SA Cichlid Tank

Here is my 150 gallon cichlid tank, mostly centrals but some souths and an african too.

It's 96" x 18" x 21" and is filtered with a large w/d sump and a xp3. Current occupants are 10" & 6" Jack Dempsey pair, 6-7" wild Red Devil pair, 3-4" Firemouth pair, 3-4" Convict pair, 8" paratilapia polleni, 6" Green terror(f), 2x 4" pink convicts(both males) and a couple 5" stripped rapheal cats.

What is that Black Cichlid with the spots? It's awesome!

that is a paratilapia polleni, he is a african cichlid from madagascar. He gets to stay until I can find a mate for him.

Thats a very rare form of Paratilapia Polleni. The reason it's rare is because usually you'll not find one with tiny spots like that. It's cousins with the Paratilapia Bleekri aka large spot. Very cool fish. Love your tank!

Nice tank, Really nice, I'm planning to make a tank quite like yours and put my convicts in there and let them fill the tank with beautiful young fry ( My connies are really bright). And I'm going to put a Moon light in there. Nice fish Too.... But mine is going to be about 5 foot long and fat.
