Greetings from Los Angeles, Mid Whilshire!

This is my first D.i.Y project and I am stoked about it with questions.:headbang2 The tank is an acrylic (first acrylic tank!:nilly: ) and it had a lot of calcium deposits. At first I used water and sponge to clean everything out…it did not do the work I wanted it to do. A friend told me about brillo and it worked great. But before doing all that…I should have read more and then used hot water and vinegar!:banhim: T.T It will be funny when i look back later.
I am at the buffing stage and I think that is coming out fine (except for the scratches on the inside.). I’m putting two coats of novus #2 and then a coat of novus #3. Can anyone get rid of bubbles in the front? I got a small patch of bubbles on my tank.

Questions.
- How do I repaint? Sandpaper? Type of brush? Maple color paint $? $? Etc, etc.

- The canopy is an open canopy and I would like to cover it.

o Plastic lid…where can I get one those? Just to cover the opening of the tank.
o Build a cover with mushroom handles?!?!? -Saw this on Derpeder’s post and I thought it was banging.

Just want to thank everyone reading this post and helping me start on my 100 gallon phase. :)

Nevermind the cover with the mushroom handles. I'll be taking pictures of what i have if it helps the readers any better. Thanks guys!
