Just got done installing the Minidos atuomatic dosing pump for my ray breeding facility. About two weeks ago I started having problems with my system and lost some rays, Found it was cause my water district was dumping 5x the normal chlorine amount into the water and my carbon filters were running out to fast. So i went with the neoprodigy design and use chlorine/chloramine remover. I don't use prime use product made by aquatrol and 16 oz will treat 9500 gallons of water it's alot cheaper then prime and will treat alot more also. I will be replacing the 5 gallon bucket with something much bigger soon but here some pictures works great thanks Li and Nick for help.

Sorry for your loss, hope this does it better for you. Looks like more frequent testing is in order for you too. Our county waterworks has done that to me several times.

very nice set up you have there..

if you need to cut the flow down ( dosmatic).....restrict the output with a valve not the input side......been there done that.....looks good

also what is the full company name for aquatrol ???

also does the aquatrol have stabilizers in it like prime....mix now use later........seachem safe powder has no stabilizers and is not recommended for mix now use later applications................

from seachem
Q: Can I mix Seachem Safe with water and store the solution to use later on. So instead of using the dry powder, I can use it pre-dissolved.
A: Safe does not have the stabilizers, like Prime, to keep it stable in liquid form. We do not recommend mixing it and storing it for future use.

I have a valve at the end of the line inside the sump to regulate the flow into the system, I never test for chlorine levels in my system and never even crossed my mind until this problem it's the invisible killer. It's Aquatrol Inc here is a link to there phone number.
