went out netting/fishing=miami style

under a bridge in fl
went to miami for 2 days. :headbang2
stayed at the miccosukee casino/hotel.

only fished a few hours the first day but did ok.

2nd day we met up with juantamad. :headbang2
we seen a bunch of pairs and got lots of hits but didnt land any. :irked:
matt caught one p bass.
i hooked a nice one but when it touched the shore it got off. :nilly: :cry:
we got about half way around his lake and the heat and soda got to me and i got sick. :cry: :grinno:
but i heard im not the only one this has happened too :naughty: :ROFL:
thanks for the trip and hospitality matt,was good to finally meet you. :)
look forward to doing it again sometime. :D
 
You should have kept that first fish. Very nice speckling on that one.

"Today there was a fire truck about 1/4 mile up the trail from where you got sick. A guy was on the grass being attended to by paramedics. You're one tough cookie. Glad you toughed it out and did not have to call 911."

For a small one that lil guy is spectacular. Most are much less colorful. There must be some nice nutrients where you caught them

should have netted more but i was busy with more then fishing and netting.

the pbass is dull after 2 days in a bucket. :irked:
i changed his water 3 times in 2 days.
same water he came from. :D
he looks ok now.not eating yet tho. :irked:

hey midnight, what do you use for bait when you catch those tropical fish..especially like the pleco on the umbrella net?
And you said you leave your net on the bottom right?

When you pull the net up, are the fish gonna be able to escape? Or is that net flap thing gonna stop them?

i didnt use my umb net this time.
