Today I decided to blow off some steam after my aro committed suicide, so I headed to one of my favorite fishing spots. I ended up catching 30-40 small mouth bass in the 8-15" range, but interestingly enough only a few largemouth and spotted bass. Normally I catch many species including drum, channel cats, sauger, white bass, rock bass but nothing but the smallies where biting which is ok with me!

The first picture is all the stuff I brought with me; 3" pumpkinseed berkley power-tubes and tube jig-heads, rootbeer charteus Bandit crankbait, maribou crappie jig, small countdown rapala, and one small white grub. Oh and pictured is a Rogue Dead Guy Ale!

Second picture is a smallmouth I caught on my first cast!

At the end is a dead deer. Damn thing stunk!

The pics of the bass after the salamander are a small mouth, spotted, and large mouth caught back to back to back casts!

Sure does even though Im sore.

I hiked up and down that creek for about 5 hours. Id say I went at least 4 or 5 miles and most of it was in knee deep water. I good work out for sure!

Other wildlife I saw but was gone before I could get pics where; a flock of turkeys that sounded like a squad of B-52 as they took off through the trees, two HUGE owls that flew with out a sound over my head through the opening in the trees above the creek, a NICE buck (I saw him in the cane I took a pic of), and lots of beautiful wood ducks.

Im surprised no one has mentioned the fossils.
