I moved my 220 with just one friend.
We used the "Forearm Forklift", and there was lots of pizza!
Good luck, post pics!

Hope your friends are bit on the "burly" side. I take it you're buying the beer. Have fun, and I hope no one is injured.

Yeah all of us are pretty big. Three of us are ex weight lifters and the other is a big farmer strong as hell. Actually non of us drink so I don't have to worry about the beer. I get some pics tomorrow. I'm reading it's about 450lbs empty. So 125lbs a corner.

Yeah, I had to move my 220 out of the seller's basement walk out and then down a very steep hill, in the rain, to get it out to my truck. We had four people and it was still hard as hell. Mine is an old O'Dell and is a bit thicker glass than most others so I recall that when I looked up the weight it was around 550, empty. Good luck to you and your buddies. I hope you have a walkout to use, because getting it up a set of stairs seems like a crazy task. Also, take your time. I see a lot of people who post threads about breaking tanks during a move. Again, good luck and let us know how it goes.

We have to go up 7 steps. But plenty of room to turn at the bottom to get it lined up. Them once we get to the top there's plenty me room to get it out the front door.
