Hi,

I've found 3x 4" endli's which have really good patterns. Shop has had then since 1" and now 6 months later they are 4". All feeding on river shrimps. Are these likely to be stunted on growth at all?

Thanks

It's possible. But at that size, I'm more inclined to think it's just poor diet and care. If you were to bring them home and feed them a good varied diet, they probably still have a lot more growth to be had

Thanks Dr.B. They are fed river shrimps daily and that's it so diet is quite poor. Body is skinny compared to the head. Now just thinking whether I'm going to setup a small grow out tank for these or pass on them.

They actually all look very nice. Nice dark patterns. I think they're definitely worth it.

Thanks for the reply everyone, think I will go and grab them. Just made me think that they could be stunted because in 6 months time they went from 1" to 4" and still super skinny!

Vary their diet. Feed them earthworms every other day. My endi is 9 inches and I've had it less than 5 months. And she's a fatty ^___^
