I have been using canisters for 20 years and never had a leak.

I guess I'll listen to u guys and just get more bio on my 110. any1 use purigen in their 110? I was planning to try it since my water is not clear with my 110.
Before you try Purigen, try stuffing filter floss in the bottom of the ACs for a few weeks. This will work like a polisher. You'll just have to change it out every week since it'll probably clog up quickly

If you're doing regular water changes the AC110 should be fine. I would add a sponge filter for bio and call it a day. I don't know how many tanks you have but purchasing a Diatom filter to "polish" you water every few weeks works wonders.

Its a 3" aro and a pleco, no need for any additional bio media for awhile. The BB that's colonized on the glass, decor, substrate, and AC media are way more than enough at this point for your stock of 2 fish small.
